Post UTME Forms 2026/2027: Full List of Schools Selling Admission Forms

University screening forms for Post UTME and Direct Entry are out for admission for the 2026/2027 academic year for 137 different university screening notices in this tracker as the standard amount is N2,000 per University/school, with a few Universities having additional charges such as application or administrative fees.

This year it’s all about the timing. JAMB had extended the deadline for all public Universities to complete admissions on 31 October 2026, private Universities to 30 November 2026 and Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and Colleges of Education to 31 December 2026, with the threat of losing access to candidates on CAPS. So the majority of the big schools sold and closed their forms from June to September. The second round is open now: supplementary admission, change of course, Direct Entry re-openings and newly approved programmes.

The windows confirmed open or closing within days as at 15 October 2026:

– Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) — Post-UTME screening extended a further week to Wednesday, 21 October 2026. The extension is for candidates with change of course/change of institution problems, NECO token problems and other pending screening problems. Notice signed by Ramatu A. Liman, SDR/Academic Affairs, for the Registrar.

– University of Lagos (UNILAG): The Direct Entry application portal for the university closes on Thursday, 15 October 2026, while the university said “any change of course made on JAMB CAPS after this date will not be taken into consideration for admission selection exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

– UNILAG School of Foundation Studies — supplementary admission applications opened on 5 October and will close on 23 October Friday with an entrance examination on Saturday 31 October 2026.

– Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB) — screening window said to be open until 31 October 2026.

– Yobe State University (YSU) — closing date reported as 30 October 2026, cut-off indicated to be between 150-225 by course.

– Sokoto State University (SSU) — reported closing date of 10 October 2026 has passed; check whether the portal reopened.

– Lagos State University (LASU) — Direct Entry online screening was extended to midnight on 11 October 2026 and the university said there would be no further extension.

All of these are deadline sensitive and if you have to pay anything, confirm it on an aggregator page via the school’s portal, not the notice.

 What Post UTME actually is in 2026/2027

Post UTME is the screening exercise that comes after JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. This is NOT one national exam. Each school selects the method and publishes it in the notice:

– Computer Based Test (CBT) — most Federal Universities. The University of Nigeria, Nsukka, for instance, conducts test based on four subjects candidates registered for in UTME (60 questions per subject in 60 minutes) and accreditation is done on the spot with the acknowledgement slip and JAMB result slip.

– Online, remotely proctored aptitude test — UNILAG ran its 2026/2027 Post-UTME Aptitude Test online from 27 to 31 July 2026, under recorded audio and video conditions, and made the mock examination mandatory with no extra fee.

– Physical screening on campus — OAU held its exercise from 1 to 5 September 2026, with candidates attending only on their allotted date, after registration from 16 June to 14 August (later extended to 23 September).

– Online screening and document verification — many state and private universities. The IBU Lapai organized a 100% online screening and verification process from 17 August until 20 September 2026 and did not take candidates who failed to do it into consideration.

– Record review only — some institutions simply verify credentials and compute your aggregate from UTME and O’level. There is no test for passing in those schools, only a form to be filled out.

How much a Post UTME form costs in 2026/2027

While ₦2,000 may be the most commonly stated and practical minimum, it does not represent the total at all schools because access to the portal is supplemented by administrative charges.

– ₦2,000 flat for OAU (portal charges not included), ABU Zaria (paid via Remita) in any commercial bank, UNN (paid via Remita) and many other state universities.

– ₦5,500 total — UNILAG, stated by the university as ₦2,000 application fee plus ₦3,500 administrative fee. Some earlier bulletins quoted the same two amounts in reverse order, so the ₦5,500 total is the number to trust.

– ₦5,000 total — UNIOSUN, reported as ₦3,000 portal access plus ₦2,000 screening

– ₦2,000 plus gateway or portal charges — the common pattern at schools that separate “screening fee” from “portal access fee”
